Why I write

Why I’m sharing this in the first place?

  • These are more letters to my future self than blog posts in the current time.

There are mainly three important reasons why I write. One of them, I’ve already covered in the previous post: It helps me to find peace within myself, it helps me to organize my thoughts and find them through words.

Second reason:

We die, but our art remains here for forever.

Writing is an art and every word I pen down will be here forever.

My little identity, the work I’ve produced can be lookup by others.

Maybe, it can also help someone else to gain some insight and learn a thing from these short essays. Who knows?

Moreover, writing lets me spread my ideas and thought process to many others out there. It’s not one-to-one communication. It’s one-to-many communication at scale, that is not limited by geographical location.

It’s not like most of the other work that once you do the work, it’s gone, you don’t own it anymore, it does not have its impacts anymore. That’s not the case with writing, it lasts long.

Third reason:

It let me put out myself out in the world.

I can proudly say:

Hey, don’t believe whatever I’m telling you. Just look up at my home page, and you’ll get to know who I’m, the kind of person I’m. Let’s catch up if that fits you!

What are your reasons for writing? Ponder.

Peace and Power,
Rishabh
