Questions
Sometimes you know that you need to take a step back and evaluate things accordingly.
But it’s hard to do in “busy” lifestyle in which you’re just taking action, and neglecting everything else.
This mode sets you in busy mode, and pull down your thinking ability.
You may win in the short-term but it’s not a way for long-term.
Questions
Most of the time, I’ve found that the answer does not matter much, and even answer comes naturally when you ask the right question.
In school and colleges, we’ve been programmed to give the most appropriate answer.
This is not how real life works. Questions matters.
The ability to ask a right and a good question is the way forward.
Balance
Like most of the things, it’s about maintaining a balance between both, long-term planning and short-term one.
The following is the template I’ve been thinking about:
- Go monk-mode and do the work for 4 days in a week.
- Slow down on the 5th one.
- Evaluate your performance.
- Check whether they’re aligned with your long-term vision or not.
- Decide the next step, and optimize accordingly.
- Iterate.
