Metrics

Popular metrics are broken.

They’ve been set up by masses, used by masses to evaluate something.

Let’s look at some of them.

Writing: The more number of words you write, the more good you’re as a writer. Broken.

Right one: Brevity is the soul of wit.

Reading: The more number of books you read, the more good you’ll be. Broken.

Right one: Read to understand and argue with the author, not to just read.

School: The more number you score in the exam, the more command you’ve on the subject. Broken.

Right one: Practical implementation matters.

Success: The more money, and fame you’ve, the more successful you’re. Broken.

Right one: Mental peace is more important.

Make sure you’re evaluating yourself on the right one.

One that is being defined by you and not being set up by someone else.

Design every part of your life, like a designer.

And let me know what other metrics should be on the list?
