How I write
Write like there is no one to read.
It goes against the conventional idea.
But it’s liberating.
It frees you and your mind a lot.
It gives the space to your creative muscles to expand and think beyond.
You’re not approaching perfection anymore.
You don’t need to conclude every time.
You don’t need to give the research-backed advice or a step-by-step process every time.
This process or mindset is not for every writer.
It mainly depends a lot on the goal of a writer. What does he want to achieve? What’s his why behind writing?
For me, it’s more about letting my words out, expressing my true self, finding out my thoughts through words, dumping down my brain and that in return reduce the stress and weight from my mind.
It’s more like putting down clothes from your body.
Writing helps me to lower down the chaos, and so-called busy state.
Writing with this mindset, let me speak out my heart wholeheartedly without thinking about anyone.
Even if you’re not my kind of writer, you should at least try it once. Why?
To write, is to think. And to write well, is to think well.
Does not matter for whatever purpose you’re writing for, in all of the scenarios, writing can’t be done with a busy mind. It requires calm and peace within oneself.
And this mindset of writing can help you to make a transition from “busy state” to “calm state” so that you can write whatever you want and for any reason.
This has worked for me very well, in the past. I can’t say much about you.
Why not try it out and see how it goes?
I’ll be looking forward to your response.
In the next post, I’ll be writing about Why I write in more depth.
Peace and Power,
Rishabh
