Advice to my younger self

If I can go back in time, and suggest some things to my future-self, below are some of them:

1) Learn in public, do everything in public.

2) Make some money. Seriously, start thinking about it. Financial dependence is the #1 source of mental illness.

Money is not the problem, lack of money is.

3) You don’t need to know everything. The way colleges and schools taught you to learn is broken.

4) Share whatever you’re doing, it does not matter how small it is.

5) Start writing. Write. Write a lot.

6) Don’t hesitate to switch from one thing to another.

7) Don’t put labels.

8) Don’t judge any field or even anything, before trying it out or knowing the full story. Even just don’t judge, everything in this universe exists for a reason and if that reason does not make sense to you, then it does not mean that it belongs to a bad box.

9) Start sharing your story. Start putting yourself out in the world. They should know you. The idea is to: let your words and actions tell everything, even before you speak a word

10) Get involved yourself in more communities rather than enrolling in courses.

11) Less self-help, more self-exploration.
